 Scenario: Zack Talks to Life

(Zack is sitting on his couch, looking at the sky through his window, then smiles and starts talking to himself.)

Zack:
(Smiling)
"Life... you're always full of surprises, aren't you? You've been trying to intrigue me since the first moment I met you."

(Looks around as if searching for life itself.)

Zack:
"Alright, life, since you're here... can I ask you a question? Do you think I've been treated fairly? Because I can't say I agree with some of your decisions!"

(Stands up and looks at himself in the mirror, smiling defiantly.)

Zack:
"For example, why is it that every time I decide to start a diet, bags of chips appear at every corner? Isn't that torture? Why can't you understand that I'm in a constant battle between my appetite and my mind?"

(Takes a deep breath, then talks as if addressing life itself.)

Zack:
"And also, those moments when everything in my life is going well, and suddenly I get an email from work: 'Hello, we have some important updates...'. Why are these updates always 'important' only when I'm relaxed?"

(Pauses, laughs a little.)

Zack:
"At least I'm sure life never gets tired of joking with me... there's always a new challenge. But, at least, we laugh in the end, right?"

(Looks at the sky, then smiles.)

Zack:
"Yeah, life... we'll continue this adventure together, no matter how complicated it gets."

(Laughs deeply, then returns to his spot on the couch.)

Zack:
"But next time, maybe we can take it easy, huh?"

(The sky remains clear, as if life is listening and smiling along with him.)
