Zack and the Stubborn Merchant
Title: Zack and the Stubborn Merchant
Scene 1: Abu Saeed’s Shop
(Zack, the advanced AI, is displayed on a tablet in Abu Saeed’s store. Abu Saeed is an old-school merchant known for his stubborn pricing and bargaining tactics.)
Abu Saeed (staring at the tablet): Alright, Zack, tell me how to boost my sales. The market is slow, and customers only want discounts!
Zack: Based on data analysis, if you reduce prices by 10%, you’ll attract 40% more customers.
Abu Saeed: Reduce prices?! Are you crazy? I’ll increase prices by 10%, and if more customers come, we’ll know you’re a genius!
Zack: That’s not how the market works…
Abu Saeed: The market works how I say! Listen, I have an idea: We put a “50% Discount” sign, but first, we raise the price by 100%!
Zack: That’s called a “marketing trick,” not a solid strategy.
Abu Saeed: Trick?! Zack, people love the word “discount”!
Zack: And people also love spotting tricks… then shopping at your competitor’s store.
Abu Saeed (hesitant): Okay, okay… What about a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” deal?
Zack: Great! But have you calculated the cost?
Abu Saeed: Cost?! Doesn’t matter! The important thing is the customer feels like they got a great deal!
Zack: Then you may gain customers… and lose profits.
Abu Saeed (silent for a moment, then shouts): Zack, you’re giving me a headache!
Zack: Don’t worry, I have a recommendation: “Buy one piece of advice from Zack, get a free painkiller!”
(Abu Saeed stares at the tablet for a moment, then bursts into laughter, patting the device.)
